The consequence

Regulators don't give warnings. They give fines.

Every missing document has a specific legal basis — and a specific consequence. Here is what non-compliance costs.

HSE COSHH Regulations 2002
£20,000

The maximum HSE fine for failure to hold a COSHH risk assessment. A beauty therapist using chemical treatments without documented risk controls faces enforcement action, prohibition notice, and insurance invalidation.

Ofsted EYFS Statutory Framework 2024
Suspended

A childminder operating without a current safeguarding policy, risk assessment, or complaints procedure fails the statutory requirements under the EYFS Framework — resulting in immediate suspension of registration.

Housing Act 2004 — HMO Licensing
£30,000

The maximum civil penalty for operating an unlicensed HMO. Gas safety certificates, EICRs, and fire risk assessments are not optional — they are mandatory conditions of any HMO licence.

CompliPass identifies every document your business is required to hold and keeps your records current, accurate, and defensible.

About CompliPass

Built from the inside out.

CompliPass was built on 25 years of compliance advisory practice. We know what regulators look for, what insurers require, and what sole traders are routinely missing.

Our background

25 years of compliance advisory experience, now available to every sole trader.

The compliance advisory sector has historically served larger organisations — those with the budget for consultants, the resource to manage documentation, and the legal teams to navigate regulatory change.

Sole traders have been left to navigate the same regulatory landscape alone, with no expert support and no early warning system when the rules change. That is the problem CompliPass was built to solve.

CompliPass brings the same standard of compliance support that larger organisations take for granted — professionally prepared documentation, specialist review, and ongoing regulatory monitoring — to the one-person businesses that need it most.

Our ethos

Compliance is not a product. It is a service.

Software can produce documents. Only qualified specialists can verify that those documents are legally grounded, accurately reflect your practice, and would withstand scrutiny.

Defensible by design

Every document we prepare is built against the actual legislation — not a generic template. If a regulator asks, you can point to the statutory basis on the document itself.

Current, not static

Regulations change. Your subscription is not a one-off purchase — it is an ongoing monitoring and update service. When the legislation that underpins your documents changes, your documents are updated.

Human review, always

No document reaches your portal without passing through a qualified specialist. This is not a disclosure we make in the small print — it is the entire point of CompliPass.

Our credentials

The qualifications behind every document.

🎓
NEBOSH Qualified National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health — the benchmark qualification for health and safety compliance specialists.
📋
CIPD Qualified Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development — covering employment law, people management and HR compliance frameworks.
🔒
ISO 27001 Lead Auditor Information security management system lead auditor certification, covering data governance and GDPR implementation.
⚖️
GDPR Practitioner Qualified GDPR Practitioner with experience spanning ICO regulatory guidance and Data Protection Act 2018 implementation.
🏥
CQC Framework Experience Operational experience working within CQC regulated environments, covering health and social care compliance requirements.
👶
